Hey guys! BEST DAY EVER!Today there was a Rolling Stone luncheon with Shakira and I attended. It was excuse my French ******* AMAZING. So here is the play by play.
- Shakira walks into the room of about 50 people to applause- She sits down and has lunch- I nearly piss myself- After lunch she excuses herself- She comes back and has a Q&A which was VERYYY informative
She talked about how she creates her music and how she started her career. About her relationship with Wycelf. The process about writing this album. About Tour of the Mongoose vs. Oral Fixation tour.
She said the next album is going to be very electronic and heavy use of synth. She wants people to have fun with this album and forget crisis. There are going to be lots of influences from Middle Eastern music, Indian, Colombian etc.
She was SUPER sweet. She took pictures with everyone and chatted with people. It was INCREDIBLE.- Other forum members also attended.
